Empowering Girls in STEM with WISEatlantic
Despite progress in recent years, girls and women continue to be underrepresented in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). WISEatlantic, is a non-profit organization that aims to shift gendered STEM stereotypes and empower girls to consider careers in STEM.
WISEatlantic needed to establish a strong online presence to reach and connect with girls and young women interested in STEM, as well as allies and supporters. They also needed to develop a website that would serve as a resource for information and opportunities related to empowering girls in STEM.
WISEatlantic partnered with Omor Bros for web development to update their user-friendly website. The website updates were designed to be easily navigable and accessible for users of all abilities. It includes information about the organization’s mission, events, resources, and opportunities for engagement. The website also features inspiring stories of female role models in STEM and provides information and resources on different STEM fields and career options.
The new website has helped WISEatlantic establish a strong online presence and reach a wider audience. The website has been well-received by the community and has become a valuable resource for information and opportunities related to empowering girls in STEM.
WISEatlantic has also seen an increase in engagement and membership since the launch of the new website. In addition, the organization has been able to connect and collaborate with a wider range of organizations and individuals in STEM, this has led to new opportunities and partnerships for WISEatlantic and its members.
WISEatlantic has been able to establish a strong online presence and connect with a wider audience, thanks to a well-designed website that serves as a valuable resource for information and opportunities related to empowering girls in STEM. The organization continues to work with the web development agency to ensure the website remains up-to-date and serves the needs of its community.
